ATTORNEY EXPERIENCE:
Joseph A. DeWoskin joined Waits, Brownlee, Berger &
DeWoskin in 2000. His practice areas include: Military
Law; Insurance Litigation; Personal Injury; Domestic
Relations; Traffic Violations/DUIs; Probate; Wills and
Estate Planning; and Worker's Compensation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. DeWoskin spent almost nine
years serving on active duty with the Army JAG Corps.
He currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S.
Army Reserves. His in depth experience with military law
helps him to effectively serve those who currently or
previously served in the armed forces.
BAR ADMISSION:
Mr. DeWoskin is licensed to practice in both Missouri and
Kansas, as well as the Army Court Criminal Appeals, the
Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the U.S.
Supreme Court.
EDUCATION:
Mr. DeWoskin received his BA in political science and
English from Washington Jefferson College and his Juris
Doctor from University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1991.
